This is worth a read. It only mentions Aeroquip think 6000 series hose. I wonder about Aeroquip FC332 (blue) & Aeroquip 400 series (dog shit brown) similar to that used by Limbach in their factory fuel hoses.
At present I am running an experiment (in glass Jay for 2 months) on vynal ester resin vs epoxy in both shell 98 and BP 98. At present I will not use shell 98 (same as liberty) as ours here smells like paint thinners and is golden dark brown while caltex & BP smell & look & smell like fuel. I now plan to extend tests to hoses as well. Unfortunately I did not take a photo but in fuel sample from gascolator there was a distinct line across the middle with shell on top and BP below. Both fuels were 98.
