Maybe little too much air in tailwheel. I did not have a tyre gauge and shimmy
started. Let a bit out & it stopped but agree with Rob about cables if it
continues. Also a young fellow taught me to lock my feet firmly on rudder at
touch down & helps prevent it starting.

On different topic BOM have introduced (today actually) new imaging with 10min
update from a new satellite & going to high resolution images infrared+zehr you
can see 7 lines of MGs at 5.40am north of sweers. You can watch them from bed
without flying. Have not looked at the 6.10 visible. There is 20min delay.

Tailwheel shimmy....first suspect would be your tail wheel cables being too
loose. Turb buckles to adjust are under the tank.

Hi Everybody

I operate a mid 80’s model Hoffma Dimona in South Africa. Lately I started
experiencing a significant tailwheel shimmy at low speed after landing on a tar
runway. Has anybody ever experienced something similar? ANY ADVICE?

Many Thanks
