Not by me. I remembered his trip today and told a few about it when talking
about this guy.

Thanks for the email Nige. I guess NZ is just a big too far away. It would
be fantastic to see him. A real. achievement in a little wooden machine with
a Limbach. Really sad about Aussie Customs though. (But typical)
Of interest the 2.4 Limbach engine I put into the Grob 109 came from a Stemme
S10 that flew from The UK to NZ. (owen Truelove). Sadly his epic effort seems
to forgotten.

  Nigel,

Just to mention it - if space is needed for the guy with the Sperber, there
is currently plenty of it in our hangar at Parafield and he would be most
welcome to use it.

    Hi All.
An Austrian has flown from home to Darwin in a Sperber/RF5. His blog is
here http://motorglidertonepal.blogspot.com.au/
He has been travelling for a month. What a great achievement. Mad maybe but
he made it.
He is now heading south and I hope to meet him soon. He needs to do a 50
hourly surprisingly.
    Cheers.
    Nige.
