It's more expensive ($800 US) and takes up more panel space but I can highly recommend the EIS 4000 engine monitor. As well as CHT & EGT it provides RPM, oil pressure & fuel flow making it a mini glass screen engine control: http://www.grtavionics.com/eis4000.html
Very configurable for what you want to see on different screens as well as what alarms are activated. The fuel flow allows you to set fuel onboard before take-off and receive an alarm when remaining fuel gets below a certain level. They are also available on Aircraft Spruce. Greg Wilson
