Hi All. One of our members "Kirk" is in need of some info.
I am away from home and the hanger for 6 weeks. He wants to know what bearings are in the pitch change fork. The ones that run on the prop swatch plate. So thing is I am here and nowhere near my aircraft and my memory is pretty good but not that good. I reckon bolt size is 6mm. Width is I think 8mm but what is the OD. So can someone please take a bearing out and look at the numbers and put it to the list to get Kirk organized for a one trip turn around. Other thing is a 2RS bearing are no good as it must be steel cage seal and thus non contact due to the RPM otherwise it will overheat and bugger the bearing. Cheers. Nige.
