Well I got them from Diamond factory in Austria via Harry Mason (gold
coast) and inc release note and cost $138 landed and less than 7 days (he
is a diamond service centre and is always getting in parts)

The tap is French made by Parker and is called Legris and is available from
RS components and us about $80. There are 2 versions bit you need the ones
with two 5mm mounts in case. You cut the arm a little and make up a flat
round plate to fit in recess.

Many on off valves have been a disaster both motor gliders and ultralights.
Some Truma were restricting to 24lit per hour while others in off position
the engine will just continue to run at 1300revs so are not shutting off
properly. Trauma valves (ones with dark red diamond shaped knob) were from
oil heating tanks in Germany.

Also be careful if it still has copper line from tap to firewall then
sideways just behind muffler. This copper line and olive CAN leak very
slightly. I just use AN fittings and Teflon braided hose which in GA is
good for the life of the engine. 40years ago car racing industry were
having fires and then they looked at Aviation. For the past 35years all
racing cars use Aviation standard AN fittings. Spedifliw or Speedflow from
Taree NSW are the suppliers to the world. So far China have not copied
them yet. They are dark blue where as aviation AN are light blue.

Unlike Arcus M the JS1 3 use AN fittings in fuel lines. Arcus use clear
plastic tube which will fail but I trust are replaced before the first
firey crash.

I just fail to understand why all motorglider do not use AN fittings like
GA planes with solid tubes or flexible Teflon braided hose. I guess 2
strokes is a bit hard around the carbs and at base of boom where more
flexible hose is best.
