G'day all,
The HK36 stainless steel firewall is a metal sandwich construction with a
fireproof fabric material in between.

I am almost sure the H36 is something similar. Last year when I replaced
the throttle cable, I pulled the old one out and some fabric type stuff
pulled out with it. The new cable very hard to feed through as it seemed
like it was going through two holes close together.

Does anyone know for sure how the H36 firewall is constructed? This info
will be needed in order to comply with the new Australian AD 687 on engine
fireproofing.

regards
Rob
