I have flown in light rain. My greatest concern was that the propeller does not have metal reinforced leading edges like a wood Sensenich or such, High rpm could erode the Hoffman's leading edges, so I reduced rpm as low as practical with partial power. On the other hand, my PIK20E manual says not to fly in rain. Rumors are that if falls like a stone. Likely associated with the choice of airfoil.
