Jarek, I would hate to see you miss any opportunities to fly.
I hope someone can provide some operational experience regarding carburetor icing. In 500 flights I don't believe I have experienced it, even with much of the engine running time at reduced power settings when soaring in spotty conditions. Does anyone else believe that the intake air is significantly warmed (possibly adequately to minimize carb icing) as the induction source is the cooling air for the cylinders? I might play with putting one of my OAT probes inside the cowling next summer to see. On Sat, Nov 23, 2019, 12:58 PM Jarek Steliga <[email protected]> wrote: > Michael, > > Thank you.
