Hello, I followed the advice received from DOG list and leaned the fuel mixture and then checked the colour of the luminescent plug, which became bluer. There was some reaction in terms of the max RPM, namely I saw a small increase by some 50 - 100 RPMs. This route will need to be carefully explored further I suppose. Perhaps further leaning the mixture will eventually produce the desired 2700 RPMs.
