G'day All, I have started a petition to change the GFA voting system for our Board members.
*Please visit http://chng.it/fDG7DP8C <http://chng.it/fDG7DP8C> to sign this petition* Recreational Aviation Australia (RAA) send out postal votes to all members for Board elections. Each Candidate who wishes to nominate puts up a photo and a one page CV in their magazine. They get some excellent quality candidates and lots of member engagement. The RAA is thriving and their open and transparent voting system seems to be a significant part of their success. The GFA system in contrast encourages only a tiny number of members to vote for their Board members. This petition is to the Gliding Federation of Australia (GFA) to adopt a similar system for electing Board members as the one used by the RAA.
