I put a hour meter airswitch on my Zenith 701 aircraft and soon realised that something was wrong with the ASI indication. The ASI was reading fine at higher speeds but from 45 knots and below it was way overeading. When we put a manometer on it it was fine down to 50 knots but then it went crazy as the pressure switch was cutting in. I am going to take an electronic rpm feed now to trigger the hour meter for flight time only.
