Thanks. Well it was built by a trailer builder in Auckland. Very much by eye. Actually I had a wing and U/C from VH-WVW which provided the basic dimension parameters. It was designed so the Fuse was front loading .. ie the 3 front panels dropped down. The outer 2 doubled as ramps for the main wheels AND wing tip supports. The wings also have a support half way along. The root ends were mounted on an external frame at the back. The best idea is that I take a few pictures of it for those interested. As it was a first (and last) “prototype” a few improvements could be made . It is a “light trailer” so just has one axel. In NZ the legal limit from the back to the axel is 4 Meters. So when the A/C is loaded, the drawbar weight is really high … too high so I needed to put a few 20 Litre plastic drums at the back to make acceptable. However with our No2 Dimona the 1000Km from Auckland to Christchurch there was no sign of any instability but 90Km/hr was OK. The spat stubs stick out over the tailgate and mounted on a small frame. This could be modified with a specially designed crane thing to lift the entire wing over the trailer side. .. which also could add to the back end weight requirement. So I will take some pictures and post them Overall I am really happy with the result. Does need a few people to help load and unload.
