Yes, it now compiled alright on my debian sid/amd64/gcc-4.2.1 with openmpi and umfpack provided by libsuitesparse. It has a problem building pydolfin, with python 2.4 and numpy 1.0.3. Perhaps you can consider patching the released version as well since it's a FTBFS (fail to build from source) bug. Another point may be you would like to consider is to specify the versions of additional packages that dolfin depends upon. I think it'd make building from source and packaging a bit easier.
