Andre: You can find the error on the mac buildbot at [1]. Adding both -lmpfr and -lboost_thread fixed the problem. It is strange, since, as you said, libCGAL is already linked to these libraries.
Harish: Isn't the link /opt/local/lib/libboost_thread.dylib -> libboost_thread-mt.dylib available in the latest boost package in MacPorts? Perhaps I created that link manually.
