After some more minor fixes, new wrappers now generate the same code

I suggest waiting on
move new_wrappers -> wrappers
until the buildbot is green again (which will hopefully be very soon).
Done.
Will add some more typedefs according to Anders' "originally intended
rules" at some point in the future.
