Hi, Well, maybe this column is not used because it is not usable. I have not seen an input field for this column in creation of a new society (neither in modification of it).
The purpose of this column is to make statistics on clients. This column should help to deliver commercial mailings in favor of a particular product during a promotional operation. For myself, I would probably never use it. Anyway, removing a marketing functionality into a CRM tool may be restrictive for other use of this product than mine.
