Just started experimenting with dom4j -- I like what I've seen so far. A
couple of installation notes from a daily tarball (2001-05-20):
- ./build.sh does not seem to have execute permissions
- the readme.html present in a CVS snapshot appears to be missing from
the tarball
- From the CVS snapshot readme.html: "Unixes (Linux, Solaris etc).
./run.sh <className> <arguments> ./run.sh SAXDemo xml\web.xml" -- note
"xml\web.xml" --> "xml/web.xml"
- tarball is missing run.sh
- ./build.sh test --- completes with no apparent errors
- java -cp $CLASSPATH:build/classes SAXDemo xml/web.xml --- completes
with no apparent errors
i.e. -- it works but needs polishing for release - no surprises there.
