Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: marc pellmann (marcpellmann) >Assigned to: Maarten Coene (maartenc) Summary: No information about the specified encoding in the document Initial Comment: In the moment, there is no possibility to get the original encoding like specified in <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> from the document object. There should be a property in the document. I need this to restore the original file with the original encoding. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Maarten Coene (maartenc) Date: 2004-07-11 12:52 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=178745 Fixed in CVS. org.dom4j.Document now contains a getXMLEncoding() method.
