Hi Folks,
I added the persitence package last evening. Please have quick look at it. I
uses the SAX-Interfaces of XML:DB API in order to store a dom4j Document
into a native XML DB that supports XML:DB API. It would be nice if you revisted
dom4j/SAX code, as I'm not a expert :0). Unfortunatly the two existing native
XML that support XML:DB API - Ozone and xmldb - won't work on my Win2K
System for test. Ozone won't compile using ant and xmldb crashing with an
exception after startup :-(. Perhaps I have more luck on Linux. :-B
I will add some TestUnits as soon as possible.
The mime support I mentioned thousand years ago, causes more problems I
thinks. At the beginning of implementation all looks quite easy. But for I not
happy with that bad documentend ActivationAPI in oder to add your own mimetype
(text/xml). So If everyone has more infos/source about that nasty API ->
please submit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)
