[dom4j-user] Process Instruction placement problem

(I posted this msg för about a month ago but did not get any feed back, henc repost...)   Hi   I have a small problem with the placement (and  modification of the process instruction).   We have a XML document that is created over a preiod of time and by a quick analyze of the elements inside the process instruction is created. At the reciver side the first 8k of the document is analyzed (i.e. searched for the process instruction tag) and processed according to the instruction. Or solution so far is to create a document, add elements over time and right before sending adding a process instruction. This does of course result in the the process instruction is at the end of the document and hence the problem (i.e. when the document is over 8k no process instruction is found and the document fails at the reciving side).   I have tried a number of ways to get the process instruction to be at the correct position (despite when I add it to the document) but nothing have worked so far.   (I can not change how the reciver is handling the document even that is where the problem is!!)..   Thankfull for any input in this matter!   Cheers Christian Holmqvist   ------------------------- Christian Holmqvist Posten Sverige AB Posten IT [EMAIL PROTECTED]  http:// www.posten.se
