Repost:  not sure if it made it the first time.

                Document doc = DocumentHelper.createDocument();
                doc.setRootElement(buildTXLife(t));
        
doc.getRootElement().addNamespace("","http://ACORD.org/Standards/Life/2/";);
                try {
                        return new DOMWriter().write(doc);
                }
                catch (DocumentException e) {
                        throw new OLifEException(e);
                }


doc.asXML shows the xmlns="...", but the returned DOM tree does not have a
namespace.  How do I add it to the DOM4J object so that it will come over to
the DOM object?
