Hi;

What is the correct/latest version of jaxen? I went to http://jaxen.codehaus.org/ and their latest version is 1.0-FCS. However, in my dom4j lib directory (I don’t remember where I got it from) I have jaxen-1.1-beta-4.jar.

??? – thanks – dave

Hi David,

- if you are using xpath, you'll have to include the jaxen jar in your classpath

- you don't need the Aelfred2 parser if you are using another XML parser (like Xerces). I don't know about java 1.3, but java 1.4+ already comes with an XML parser (Crimson), so you don't need Aelfred2 or Xerces there...

regards,

Maarten

Hi;

Is jaxen still needed with dom4j.jar in version 1.5.1?

Is the Aelfred2 parser needed just with java 1.3 or with all versions? And is it needed if I have Xerces installed?

Thanks  dave
