Hi,
I have what I suppose is an odd request. I am a project lead for a new
Eclipse Foundation project ORMF. My company wrote the code that forms
the initial contribution to the project. That code makes extensive use
of both Dom4J and Jaxen. The Eclipse Foundation does IP due diligence
on all third party libraries used in project. Dom4J has already been
approved and is being used in several Eclipse projects. Requests to
use Jaxen, however, have repeated not passed due diligence. That
leaves the ORMF project with a problem; how do we replace all of our
Dom4J based xpath code with an alternative that is acceptable to the
foundation?
Any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
All the best,
Joel
