OK I did a .it and the process took several days only resulting in me 
receaving a LAR by email.
If you like I can show you the automated system used by our current supplier 
of .it domains that constructs the LAR based on data entered into a form on 
their web site. We then fax it directly to Italy.
This avoids the delays and reduces the work for them.
Your form in the RWI should ask all the tax ID questions as a bare minimum.

Also, if you are refaxing these from Canada thats going to cause problems as 
the .it registry is notorious for being unable to read illegible faxes.
In fact, my expereince is that they don't like real signatures eitger as 
they need ones which are clearly the name typed on the letter.

I am just trying to be helpful here, honestly.
