Hi Jo,

We are working on sorting this out with GoDaddy.

One of the links in the message appeared on a block list of an anti-spam
organization and we are removing it from that list. Once that happens,
we'll do some tests to see if the blocking is eliminated.

We'll let you know when the issue is resolved.

Subject: [domains-gen] Follow-up: GoDaddy blocking domain related emails

With regards to my previous post about bouncing WHOIS confirmations,
GoDaddy responded:
---------------------
Thank you for contacting customer support. The error message
received is related to our anti-phishing software, which blocks
known spammer links from being sent through our system. It primarily
blocks links from sites listed on http://www.spamhaus.org/ (also
blocks our own "spammer" database).

Please go to http://www.spamhaus.org and verify that there are no
links in the email being sent that appear in that database..
The error '554 refused mailfrom because of SPF policy' indicated in
this bounce-back message shows a problem with the sender's SMTP
configuration.

Please let us know if there is anything else that we can assist you
with.
---------------------

I question whether it really has to do with SPF, because I also
tried forwarding the WHOIS confirmation from my own email account -
it was also bounced back with the same error. I am able to send the
client other email from the same account. If it was SPF, one would
think all my messages would bounce? Client reported to me that she
is receiving renewal notices just fine.
