Heyall, I have a Blogware customer whose default quota is 2 GB/month. I have enabled the automatic upgrade thing with the Maximum Transfer Upgrade Threshold set to 2 GB (the idea being that it will permit upto a total 4 GB over the month).
This just kicked in. I received the following message: >This is an automated message alerting you that the blog >***.blogware.com has exceeded its assigned transfer, and has >been automatically upgraded by 4096.00MB for the current month. This confused me for a moment though, and prompted me to go back into the control panel to double-check. The problem is that the preposition "by" is wrong; it should read "to". Either that or the figure should be changed. The assignment has been upgraded *by* 2 GB *to* 4 GB. The existing text implies that an additional 4 GB have been added. As a side note, may I ask why the additional 2 GB was added all at once? Surely it would be just as practical yet potentially more cost- effective to the reseller if the upgrade were to notch in at e.g. 1 GB increments as required, upto a ceiling of what's specified here? Or is this designed to make it easier for Tucows to charge us faster? :) -b -- Ben Kennedy, chief magician zygoat creative technical services 613-228-3392 | 1-866-466-4628 http://www.zygoat.ca _______________________________________________ domains-gen mailing list [email protected] http://discuss.tucows.com/mailman/listinfo/domains-gen
