If he let it lapse tomorrow, would you consider it a "premium" domain? Oh, yeah, I almost forgot - you could collect maybe $3.20 a month by snagging it and putting up some Google ads.
Sometimes I just wish we could opt out of all the bullshit that has become of the domain name game. It's been rather sad to see Tucows embracing this approach.
