I recently installed both a RapidSSL and an OpenSSL certificate and
they're _identical_ in their appearance except for the GeoTrust vs.
RapidSSL brand. The application and approval process is also identical.
There's no company name attached to either cert - only the domain name.
The OpenSSL certs are wholesaled to Tucows resellers for $69, but are
under $49 from online retailers. RapidSSL certificates are available for
under $15.

The SSL game is another one based on little more than trying to confuse
buyers into buying overpriced products and services with zero added value.
