For me some songs were instant hits, like "Long Train Runnin", while others have grown on me like "Turn It Loose" which recently popped into my head while I was skiing.  It's a perfect song to ski to.  I had never really cared much for it until that day and now it's one of my favorites.  Some songs grew on me after they did a live version, like "Minute By Minute".  The original was, to me, a bit weak while the concert version is funkier with some great guitar work.  The live versions of "What a Fool Believes" & "Dependin' On You", are better also, I think.  "Can't Let It Get Away" was an instant hit for me and at the time I thought it would be the last one but then, one morning on my way to work in '89, I heard "The Doctor" which had me smiling the whole rest of the day, because I knew the Doobies were back!

Finally, I think "Slow Burn" is one of my favorites and I'm hoping to add to the list when the new CD comes out this spring!

"Turn It Loose", Doobies!
