Fellow Doobs and Doobettes: I just had to drop a line to share what a pleasant night I had last night. I'd stopped in a the local sports bar for a bite and a brew and you know what was playing on the sound system? Best of the Doobies. I got in there midway through the album, but listening to Black Water, Rockin' Down the Highway, It Keeps You Running, Take Me in Your Arms and Without You was certainly a great way to start the night. And then, just as the disks were changing over to some Fleetwood Mac, a Marylin Monroe look-a-like singing telegram performer arrived to serenade a birthday boy.
