Three weeks till "....Guitar man sets the strings
on fire!" Can you folks identify the song that line comes from? I
too have been on a Doobies only streak leading up to Atlantic City.
They're the best band that gets no air time around here. I've been Ricky
Martined out...although I'm not sick of Shania Twain (I wonder why?) or
Santana/Rob Thomas (even though Thomas really can't sing...forget about
it!). It seems like they only play the same 10 songs here in the New
York area over and over and over...ad nauseum!
I've been alternating back & forth between the
pre-Michael McDonald and post-Michael McDonald Doobies. I think that's
when they rock! Anytime I pop out a tape and hear the radio for a couple
of minutes I end up popping another tape in. I hate to be living in the
musical past...so I'm looking forward to the new Doobies CD this spring!
Does anybody agree with me?
