  Hi Guys :)
  I just spoke with Maria at the office of the NVF, she let me know that the
Banks should be ready for release/distribution by November 11, 1999.
  I just called to inquire about the Banks, as per Doobster's lead.
  Please, take the time to help this worthy cause.
  One thing I wasn't aware of (or perhaps forgot due to brain damage) is that
the very crucial, "Crisis Management Hotline" is only manned until 9
PM....due to insufficent funding. Those dire hours between 9pm until 9
am...when OUR Veterans could be in Crisis, are not currently available to
them. That is what these Banks are all about.
  All it took today, was a phone call to the District Manager of a local food
chain, to get permission to set-up banks for collection/donations. Within a
week, I'll know how many banks they will be willing to have available at the
cash registers. One phone call... And maybe just one hour a week to go and
collect the monies and slip it into a envelope...that's it. :)
  Peter Dubin and Laurin Willis...You are both held in very high regard,
around the NVF Offices. (The word 'love' was even mentioned) You guys are
very special and I am proud to call you my friends.
  Please contribute your time or monies.
  <jumping off the soapbox now>
