Hi Doobers & Doobettes,
If anybody that collects Doobie stuff hasn't checked out eBay yet, you
might want to. Last time I checked it out, there were over 50 items for
sale, including a couple of the Sampler that the Doobs/ Rhino put out to
promote the box set. I got one on eBay for $19.00, incl. postage. It came
with a sticker, too! Way cool! It just got here today, and the CD
packaging is also unique, as Miles said. There's no jewel case. The
cardboard CD holder is made in the shape of the new "wings" logo, about
11" across the wings, with the round badge part is about 5 1/2" dia..,
(That's where the CD goes.) It's silver, w/ gold art: "Long Train
Runnin', The Doobie Brothers 4-CD Box Set Sampler, 1970-2000." It has 15
songs on it, including: Listen to the Music, Long Train Runnin', Minute
By Minute, Keep This Train A-Rollin', Dangerous, and a demo version of
Takin' It To The Streets.
I would recommend it, for the true Doobie-stuff collector! ;-)
To those going to the AC shows, have a GREAT time, and if you think about
it, give my best to the guys.
