The best part of this is that the readers rated the Doobies as number 9
so they are in the top ten of the people's favorite Bay Area Bands.

Tiran left a message on my machine while I was at Stanford delivering
the toys on Saturday, (more on this in a minute) and told me of the
passing of Dave Shogren. He said he had the flu and developed pneumonia.
I haven't had a chance to call him back to get more details yet.

I also am surprised at the lack of information and discussion on Dave's
passing, but I believe part of the reason is that he is the least known
of any of the Doobies. I will pass on any information I can find.

The 3rd annual Toy Drive was a success! I am quickly getting the
pictures up on a Web Site for you to see. Chris Passanisi has once again
gone above and beyond the call of duty and made this the best toy drive
ever! More on the toy drive in a moment including pictures!
