I've already received several e mails regarding a possible convention/weekend in conjunction with the Doobies 3 night stand at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas June 9, 10, & 11. Before we commit to anything or put anything to a vote, we need to do some research on ticket prices and the like. On the plus side, the theater at the Orleans is phenomenal. The Doobies played 2 nights there last March...a small venue (750-900 seats) and GREAT acoustics. The sound was absolutely incredible and such an intimate setting that even on the back row of the theater, I could still see the white's of their eyes. The down side, I believe tickets for last year's shows were $88.00 and $66.00. Should we plan a convention, we certainly want as many fans as possible to feel they can afford to attend. We'll see what we can find out ASAP. Laurin
