Feisty as ever...
Apparently the procedures Marti went through yesterday were successful.
While she isn't 100% "out of the woods" yet, she's a great deal closer. She
is improved enough that she may be moved out of the cardiac intensive care
unit and into a private room as early as today, and, if all goes well, may
actually be sent home on Friday (home, as in "don't leave the house for a
month" home).
Yes, these estimates may very well be optimistic, however, they are the
doctor's optimistic estimates.
After that there will be a long, difficult recovery period...oh, if the
rehab specialists only knew of the storm that is heading their way...
