Hi.
I thought this might be Greg's Fri off and you were out looking at houses.
Had weird phone trouble yesterday and esp last nite. Ross tried to call and
couldn't get thru after he got my message. His together net is/was down and
had to go thru WRJ on aol which is toll call 4 him. Called the phone co
last night and left a message, and they called this am after 9. Everything
seems ok. Still don't have ans machine or fax plugged in. Phone rang, I
answered portable. Island sounding voice talking-I hung up thinking phone
scam. Phone kept ringing, machine should have picked up after 4 rings-rang
8/9 x. Nothing on caller id phone up stairs. Not able to go on line.
Finally, ok, e mailed Ross & called operator. Put me thru to Granby and
left a message. I didn;t want to get stuck for some exotic phone bill to
Figi or who knows where, so reported it right away. Can't figure out what
caused it. If I get some sort of strange charge on my bill, have report to
Granby now that something was up that night.
Ross emailed to call him right away-was concerned. Tried to call this am.
Said I was on line answering Mary, K and U. sent more kisses. he is a
sweetie.
Got back from Harry's about 20 min ago. Got sm Greek salad and pizza 1/2
mushrooms 1/2 onions to go. He likes it reheated in micro. I eat it cold.
Doesn't matter to me. It's going to be bitter cold again tonight. This way
when we're in, we're in. I can set the alarm and that's that.
Mr Greg hasn't been here yet. Have w2 stuff, but if I call him abt it he'll
show up tonight. Don't want that. He might go balistic, he might not catch
on.
Did I send u Charlie Brown and Lucy? I am going to try to send it to you if
I didn't. I'll send it anyhow, separate from this. Thing you sent was
terrific. J sent me one yesterday abt mothers. If my girls EVER knew some
of the things I did for them. Was always told it was his house, don't let
the door it me, take the girls and leave nasty stuff. I went thru a private
hell so that they would have a nice place to live. Bob was a real pervert.
I'll tell you abt it sometime. He couldn't break my spirit or destroy my
sense of humor tho. Those are two of my best qualities.
Ross said he was leaving abt noon and gave me an eta of 1600. It's 3:07 or
1507 now, so I'm watching. Even in my pokey trooper-san w/a pit stop I've
made it both times in less than 4hrs. HE has a bigger engine so he's able to
maintain 70mph. I do 45-50 then play catch up on the downside of the hill
and muster up 75-80. He drove to WRJ so he knows how the trooper is. If I
get the 89 fixed, I'll do ok in that. It has more gumption. Told Ross car
w/a wind up key on the back passed me, 20 yr old Omnis, you name it. They
blow past me. 3 cyl Justies, I'm a snail.
Gave him directions from exit x Dana Chev over bridge etc. Told him it took
me 30 min or less that way. Really is fastest way. Up to 5 and 10 takes
longer. Holyoke isn't the best. Also best to get thru NOHO x 4 anyhow.
You know that. But he will have 2 lanes on his side.
Guess I'll get this out to you. Just saw gray Vicie go by..??if he missed
me.
hugs
pat
