TJ's song, "Excited" (LTR box set, disc 3 track 16) made it's debut at last
night's Southwest Swing Club weekly social dance/practice clinic. I had to
beg the DJ to play it but once he did, everybody got up to dance before the
song ended. Even the "Hot Dog" dancers were out there! They loved the song
and believe me, social dance snobs are a discriminating bunch. I will bring
it to the Pasadena Club next week and turn them on too. This is a hot song
and whether or not it becomes a favorite with the dance community, I intend
to use it to its fullest extent.
