After reading Linda's post, Are You a Fanatic, I got worried and decided to
step on the Doobometer and check. I was astonished to find out how "phat"
I was. I stood in the mirror and said, "Just look at yourself! Can't even
go an hour without mumbling the words to Sweet Feelin or hearing the guitar
riffs to Excited in your head! The seats and floor board of your car are
covered with Doobie CD's and tapes. It's ALL Doobies, ALL the time, isn't
it?!! Why, you practically live for the next Doobie concert memory you can
post on the list!"
Thanks, Linda, you've helped me see the light!
I almost went back into denial again, rationalizing that at least I don't
own any DB T-shirts or auction items...well not yet. There's just no
getting around it! I'm gunna have to go on a Doobie Diet between now and
the next Doobie concert! No more snacking until dinner! (ie. Las Vegas)
I'm going to limit my car to one Doobie CD at a time and snap my wrist with
a rubber band every time a Doobie guitar riff plays in my head. This will
require a lot of discipline. I don't know if I can do it, but I'll try.
Anybody got a clue on how long you think I can last?
Huggs,
cinderella
