Good Morning Everyone...from snowy Utah,
When I got to the computer this morning, there was the sweetest little note
from my reformed hellion Alayna. (yes, this is the same one that was causing
me so much grief last summer). Anyway, there's a picture of the doobie
brothers and a brief on the band and their cd's for sale through one of
those mail order outfits. BMG Music???? I recall enrolling in one of those
when I was a kid too... :)
So the caption says...
"With huge hits like China Grove, Listen To The Music, Black Water and
Takin' It To The Streets, the quintessential '70's band, The Doobie Brothers,
dominated rock radio during this era, scoring 11 multi-platinum albums."
I can't believe the prices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The box set is reduced from
59.99 down to 24.98! WHOA NELLIE!!!!! I am going to order The Captain and
Me and What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits.........how can I refuse, such a
sweet offer from her.
"Mom, if you want any of these just let me know!" (A Couple of personal
lines....then, she says.......) "P.S. I thought the picture was cute too!"
What great taste she has now too!!!!! Yahooooooo
I would like to say Happy Mothers Day to all of you Mothers out there. It's
the hardest job in the world......but the biggest rewards, are little moments
like this one this morning.
P.S. NICK.......my favorite line is my siggy. I've had to hang on to that
line a few times throughout my life.
