I'd have to agree with Steve since I'm also a big fan of Three Dog
Night....I always thought a good song for the Doobies to cover from TDN
would be "Liar" - plenty of room for guitar solos in that one, plus it
rocks!!

Yeah, great song, as well as I Want You Tonight, and Runnin' Away. I thought
that if they ever covered Three Dog Night tunes any of those songs would be
perfect, i.e., Celebrate, It's For You, Try A Little Tenderness (not to diss
the late great Otis Redding)

My all time favorite possible cover for our guys...Robert Johnson's
"Crossroads Blues"

Later,
Steve

Hi everyone -

A little late on the subject, but in hopes of somehow influencing the set
list this summer, I thought I'd pipe in with an unusual cover for the guys:

Anyone remember Pablo Cruise's "Whatchyou Gonna Do"? Killer, killer tune -
great bass, great harmonies, great chorus, great guitar solo, great fade out
- the Doobs would rip it up!

L8R -
