We all know how giving the Doobie Brothers are when it comes to charity events. Well, I just learned that they were in my backyard this weekend, playing at a black-tie dinner fund-raiser last night in Minneapolis that is part of a local charity golf tournament put on by pro golfer Tom Lehman. The goal is to raise $1 million between the dinner and several days of golf. Had I known about it ahead of time, I might have tried to sneak in. But then again, I doubt I'd blend in with the black-tie crowd.
