So, I am walking from the Atlanta Braves game
against the Cubs to my car with my family and I see a person pass me with a
Doobie Dog pack of "cigarettes" T-shirt. I say "Hey, where did you get
that t-shirt?" He replies: "I got this shirt from www.doobiebrothers.com." I
said, "I know it well, have you joined the listserve?" He says:
"yeah, I'm RS McGuire." I said, "no way, I'm RogBC!!"
So, along a LONG and humid hot track of road, Ron
and I and the family trek our way to the car and revel in our
circumstance. We have tried to meet at local concerts about 5 or six
times, but it never worked out. So it had to be a Braves
game.
On a light note, Lee Ann and I are trying to come
up with names for the newest addition to our family, Lee Ann is coming
up with the usual suggestions she likes, Kayla, Megan,
Brittany...etc.......me, with the usual suggestions I like, Tommy
Johnston, Pat Simmons, Skunk etc.......
I can't understand the disdain she has for my
preferred names for the kid.
Wow, can you imagine going through high school
with the name Skunk?
