There is a good story. But I'm wondering why the Simmons' would
patronize a non-vegetarian eatery.

That would be cool if we had a Doobies the Second Generation. I've
been
pleased with the first incarnation.
I've only seen Patrick Jr, once. That was a couple of summers ago in
north
Mississippi.
My favorite story about him doesn't involve music. It just so
happened that
the Simmons family were eating at a BBQ restaurant at the casino
there were
going to play.
At first I didn't notice them, I think I noticed Cris first. Then
the two
Pats walked past my booth for a second helping at the buffet. Little
Pat
returned with a plate full of BBQ beans. On his trip back to the
table, he
sort of stopped by my booth and took a longing whiff of the beans.
The next
sound I heard was a very long Mmmmmmmm.
Other than music, I guess he appreciates some good ole Mississippi
cooking.
