Hi again folks,
Re: "Higher and Higher" (Your Love Has Lifted Me), was originally done, by none other than "Mr. Entertainment" himself back in the early 60's by Jackie Wilson.
Peace,

Just a quick correction . If I'm not mistaken "Higher and Higher " is an Otis Reddingtune . Many people have covered it since but I'm pretty sure Otis was the first . Steve in PA

Doobiefans, Cornelius Bumpus' CD, "Known Fact", has some nice sax stuff you might like; funkier than Kenny G.  A highlight is his version of "Takin' it to the Streets". Chicago's new "Live" CD features a cover of the old Rita Coolidge song, "(Your Love is Lifting Me) Higher and Higher", with lead vocal by none other than Michael McDonald.  It's a fresh new arrangement by Chicago and Mike's vocal is first rate. Have a nice summer folks. "Guitar man sets the strings on fire...", George
