Heehehehehe,
Yeah, Laurin told me that my membership fee was to buy all the guitars that
get signed by the Doobs for later distribution........hehehehehe, just
kidding...........which reminds me. The reason that we don't have to pay to
be members of this, the finest band appreciation club in the world, is
because of the tireless and extensive efforts on the part of Laurin Willis
and several of the fan club members behind the scenes. I fly 150 to 200
times per year and tried to count the number of trips that Laurin put in
last year. I know firsthand that it must have cost him a fortune and
hundreds of hours to maintain such a schedule, all for the club's benefit.
I regret that I am not even aware of all the sweat put in by other members
of this club. I just wanted to say I am appreciative of what Laurin Willis
(my "bathtub full of beer" suitemate at Laughlin) has unselfishly done for
me and for the rest of the club.
