This is fantastic news.
I lost a good friend to colon cancer in March this year (he was 31), and so
I know first hand how evil and destructive this terrible disease is.
Well done Doobies, for supporting yet another worthy cause - may the Lord
bless you dearly.
My wife will e-mail her sister in California tonight to ask her to save that
issue of the TV Guide for us, for when we go to visit in October.
BTW, the dafodil is the symbol of our anti-cancer council, and today in
Australia happened to be "Dafodil Day", when we purchase dafodil pins, pens,
Teddy Bears and the flowers themselves, in support of cancer research and
patient support. From my observations, the public supported this day very
strongly.
