My brother and I just returned homefrom Saratoga tonight.  Even though we are tired and cranky, we concur that there is only one way to express our thoughts on Saratoga 2000 and that is with a very respectful "OH MY GOD!"  This was our first but definitely not our last.  Even my brother who I must admit possesses a likeness of Niles on Cheers, is now a Doobie fanatic. The Doobies got him to put away his Gray Poupon and get into the groove.  He might have even gone overboard.  He was the one who wanted his pillow autographed for those of you who were there and remember.  Keith's wife helped him and made it her mission to have it done for him.  She even tried swiping another mans Laminate for us, but got caught.  Not surprising being that it was around his neck!   Not only did we get to know  the band, but their families as well.  Tommy has the most adorable little girl (who knows every word of "Listen to the Music" and plays a mean tambourine too!)  She will definitely be a heartbreaker when she gets older.  The new single that is out and playing is awesome!  I do have to admit however, the way that Pat introduced the new song about his daughter (Don't Be Afraid) won my heart.  I just can't get over such flawless harmonies.  I used to be in a band and I can't tell you how difficult that is! The story behind the song made it for me.  It is late now and I have to call it a night, but I will have pictures and much more to say when I am more awake.  One note however:  The fan club was planning on meeting at the Caribbean Zone, and after getting totally lost and frustrated in San Francisco, We found it.  Guess what?   It is no longer open we were told.  Padlocks on the doors too.  Bummer.  Now who will get the Doobie Liner?  HINT HINT THERE DOOBIE DAN!!!!!  How would that look in your Doobie collection?  Last but not least.......I get a couple of days rest and then WHALA!...........The Doobies will be playing at our state fair.  Here we go again....YAHOO!!!!!!

Glenn and Scott (pillow boy as Keith's wife refers to him)  From North of Seattle and Tacoma respectfully.
