Miles, a truly wonderful review. Everyone at
Montalvo (and probably in San Jose) can testify that you were yellin' "I wanna
hear motorcycles!" LOL It was great!
Venice is a really good band. They sang LTTM
with everyone the last night and were in heaven. Their lead singers
told us they love the Doobie Brothers and were thrilled to open for
them. They also mentioned the fans and our dedication. Ann told them
they probably made a few fans this week, two she knew of and was sure a lot
more. You're right, they are worthy of our attention.
Apparently there was no doubt the Brothers could
still deliver as the place was sold out all three shows (could have been sold
out for five.)
Chris S. is awesome! What wonderful
seats! And you are right on the money when you talk about the after
concert jams. Those guys were great! I took pictures of the cakes,
they were beautiful.
Sad to say I was also busy and do not remember the
names of the band with the NVF. They rocked. A lovely group of
people who played their music from the heart. Many thanks to the Brothers
who stood there and clapped in time to the music. I'm sure they made the
band feel special.
Helen
PS I love the way you incorporated a few
song titles in your review.
